The site will be up as soon as the motors are on hand. Unfortunately, the swing arm will not be available right away. Still trying to get the fabricator to make a test sample for me, and all fab shops in my area are super busy right now. (Boeing is local to us) :/

I like the updated picture in the first post.
Looks clean!
That's the genesis frame right?
What all didn't you upgrade? (figured that would be a shorter list  )
Will the swing arm work on the Kona Stinky?

Is there a bag that can fit in the triangle of the frame kinda like the hpc bags? I see on eBay.

Perhaps a medium iberra bag. I have not tested this, though.
The falcon and em3ev bags are too big for the Genesis' triangle, but on most hard tails, they are perfect.

Were you able to use the stock bearings and hardware that comes with the Mongoose with your swingarm?

If you are referring to the Stock Bottom bracket, & cranks, then yes, you can use those with the V2 Swing Arm. The Genesis ones are not of very high quality, though.

Sorry, I'll replace the bottom bracket and cranks. I meant the bushings and pivots for the swingarm, that is were you able to use the ones from the Mongoose (use a bearing press to remove them or whatever) on the new swingarm or did you get new ones? Thanks.

I used the existing bearings in the swing arm pivot.

The rocker arms have bearings at the central pivots. The connections to the shock and wishbone memebrs are bushings.

I have a feeling the 3T motor will be too much for it, but I am hoping the 4T through 6T motors will work well with it.
Could you give a quick overview of why the 3T motors are supposedly so iffy/hard on controllers? would owning one of these make a person need to have another at 4T for the inevitable breakage? I want the speed but not at the cost of more forced repair. :?

The 3T motors have a lower resistance in the phases, so they draw more phase current from the controller. If your controller is not large (current capable) enough, this can overwork the FET's. The motor will not likely have a problem, but you may be more likely to blow the FETs on your controller, and have to repair or replace it. It will also cause the phase wires to get hotter (more phase current) so having larger phase wires from the controller to the motor would help with this.

The MXUS sine wave controller I tested cannot provide 60A battery current to the phase wires because the resistance is so low. With a 4T motor, the MXUS Sine wave controller reportedly does work on 60 Battery Amps.

So are you really sure it adjusts amperage? What if you don't want 60a but more like 15-25-40?
I like the idea of the controller but I guess I'm more used to the throttle position, Or am I getting it all wrong that the 3 speed switch on an Infinion is amperage adjustment?

I still like the programmable setup/idea.

The MXUS sine controller is not programmable, so you would probably be more comfortable with a Xie Chang controller, which you can program with XPD.

Sabvoton has a decent sino controller that is programmable. The 72V/300 phase amp one might suit the 3T nicely.
