$2g's seems like a lot for 350W.

You might want to ask some of the more knowledgeable members about hill climbing ability, but throttle only my 36V system drops from 20mph (indicated) to about 14mph (indicated) on a 5% ramp in less than an eighth mile (tested it for information only). I'm 6'1", 175 pounds on a 45 or so pound bike, and don't mind since the bike goes about 20mph on a flat road and that's what it's design parameters were. Personally, I would purchase at least a 1000w DD or 500w geared with a 48V, 15 ah battery for hill climbing.

If you want a bike built they would be ok but under power for hill climbing.

I go my 4065 from here. If you want to build yourself something more powerful than the 250 watts this is the place to buy. They're stealth but just trading under a different name. http://e-mtb.com.au

This place also sells complete bikes. http://melbourneelectricbicycles.com.au ... rsion-kit/

You can buy ultra cheap bikes at http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/fat-bikes.htm
Only problem is they ship for free to within mainland usa, canadian buyers got to dropship it. Not sure how overseas people would do it.

Go to yescomusa buy a kit!

You are set for around a g-note!
Batteries, and a charger from em3ev in China, ebikes in Canada, from ES New/Used Forums.

In all reality, you can find bicycles anywhere. Heck I find broken bicycles, abondoned bicycles everywhere.
Heck some are pretty dang nice. Keep your eyes peeled, go to richie riches neighborhood, roam the alleys.

I've been telling people who are interested that if you're starting out, start at over 1+ kw. 2kw if you can stretch the budget to it. It's better to have too much power and a motor that can take the punishment rather than have regrets about a sub-par ebike.

Term of "best value"= i bought a hub motor 48v 1000w say around usd300. best value it actually means how much you have get from it without a grift + years of using it + without a single problem.

if you bought a hub motor+ kit can say use forever , i will think indeed a true best value. not a kit bought for few thousands but used only couple of months.

it all depends how capable you can use your kit, all the time.
Conhis hub motor run on April 2010, 48v 1000watts hub motor distance run 5800km, and Re~alive cyclone kit bought in year 2009, Bought a greentime controller 18fets- 4110 , 48v~ 90v , 3-speed mode. Latest top speed I got for my greentime controller 76.8km/h ! , yet to reach 80km/h, or I will never reached 80km/h ?

I am ready to purchase one of these: http://dillenger.com.au/shop/electric-b ... tric-bike/

Can any owners please chime in or if you have an idea of what they are like before i purchase please do. The reviews on site are great of course.
