Half twist throttle with sticky 3sp ( beer ) ?

Post by 999zip999 » May 21 2020 4:12pm

My cup holder sometimes spits up beer to often ? The biggest problem it's my 3sp button is getting stickie over time ? I want to take apart and clean. What melts or dissolve this beer somebody spilled on my 3-speed button. Can't trust anyone anymore who in the world would waste beer like that ?

Stop buying cheap sticky beer. Slick beer does digest much bitter, hic. Anyway, after sticky beer, follow up with alcohol.

Definitely hard to know I have isopropyl and denatured alcohol ? What are the pros and cons.
Well at least I'm staying away from the stinky beer.
Madrhino I bet up in the woods you make you bath tub brew.

Nope. Not a beer drinker. Not much of a drinker but I drink a little almost everyday. Usually, Champagne Aperol spritzer before lunch, and Kahlua coffee after.

Lightly pour some isopropyl alcohol or better yet spray the twist throttle making sure to get into the cracks, maybe even find some long hair paint brushes to brush that alcohol deep into the cracks and most importantly, buy some better beer.

You'll probably want to switch to a lite beer. But I recommend going with a mixed drink that has one of those little bitty umbrellas in it, which might act as an anti slosh device.

Don't listen to them. If you want to drink syrup that sat so long it fermented, that's your choice and no social democrat has any business trying to take your freedom away. Of course they violently disagree with that, (Quite violently at times) but you won't feel a thing if you're drunk, so stick with it. Like, they can take your bottle away when they pry it from your cold, dead hand. At which point those snowflakes will be going "EEEaooawwwww!" not just because you're a dead guy, but because it's STICKY!

Do like I used to do for Mardi Gras and get a large insulated bottle with straw and a strap to go around your neck. Add a 5th of 100 proof Southern Comfort and as much ice as will fit. Then add more ice later as the level allows. It will last all day, but be careful to go slow with it especially early in the day...pacing yourself is critical.

Don't forget to leave the bike at home. Drinking is definitely a walking or riding as a passenger activity, not driving, and especially not riding unless you want to trade your ebike for an electric wheelchair or your bed for a sealed box.
