Re: SIKK Fat Bike 49cc/MXUS 3000W Build

been playing with programing my controller and the CA. I couldn't get my damb laptop to recognize the controller cable at first because it win 8.1. Finally got the right driver to work and reprogrammed the controller. The High and the low voltage wasn't set right. I turned on slip mode but I'm not s...

Re: EMC-2000 charger from ecity (1500 to 2000W)

Okay thanks for your help. Does anybody have a current one and has played with it? I'm tempted to be the guinea pig. Just don't know if I should go for the 100v (24s) one and try and get it down to 60v. Or play it safer and get the 72 or 84v (18or21s) one so it will be closer to the 60v min I want t...

Re: Adjust meanwell voltage

Just looked on the meanwell sight. HGV-65-42 has a voltage adjustable from 38-46v and a current adjustable from .93-1.55amps. and the HGV-65-48 has a voltage adjustable from 43-53v and a current adjustable from .81-1.36amps. So since you want 80-84v the HGV-65-42 looks perfect for your needs. Yah tw...

Re: Adjust meanwell voltage

O okay well then yah two meanwells in series to make the charging voltage you want. I first looked at 60w one that said they were cc/cv and had adjustable current and voltage but when I read there description it didn't say the voltage was adjustable just the current. So I went down to 65w and the fi...

Re: EMC-2000 charger from ecity (1500 to 2000W)

why are they different packages?
Is yours older? Or from somewhere other than bmsbattery?
Do they still sell yours somewhere, and if so do you have a link?
I would like the 900w for portability.

Re: EMC-2000 charger from ecity (1500 to 2000W)

kepler Very interested in your experience with the 900w. So what was the voltage you ordered? And what was the voltage range you got out of it? And what was the amp range you got out of it? I'm running 18s lipo right now but in the future I will be running min of 21s max of 24s. Also I have another ...

Re: Adjust meanwell voltage

That is a cc only ps. I thought that was already talked about. Why don't you just get one of these. https://bmsbattery.com/ebike-charger-ev-charger/690-s180-charger-built-in-active-pfc-charger.html It has an active PFC. You can tell them to set the voltage to what ever you want. Then adjust i...

I think he's not considering the original mw he posted. There cc efect has already been talked about. He has been suggested to use the mw with cc AND cv. They will NOT over charge. Re: improving MXUS 3000 V2

 yah ice it's a fat tire too so more drag also telsan I think this is why wesnewell wasn't getting as much speed also, but he was/is running 100v 45amps. just not enough amps to get even close to the no load rpm with the big ash wheel! Speaking of, what was the kv for the 3000 mxus 4t v1? I sci...

Re: improving MXUS 3000 V2

Crank the voltage up a bit. What is your tire diameter? Sorry didn't notice this earlier. There 29" Madden mentioned modding the controller to handle 24s lipo. What's the max without modding? Im running 65A battery which turns out to be 80A and 170A on the phase So your controller set to 65amps but...

Re: SIKK Fat Bike 49cc/MXUS 3000W Build

With the ca you will have everything you need to do that test. Be careful not to overcharge your pack when doing regen with the gas motor. Thats a pretty powerful "charger"! Cool I hope so! This is the first time I've even had regen and I'm lovvin it! Still need to hook up the rear brake though :lo...

Nice! Glad to see it running. You had a few battles along the way so congrats on working the bugs out. Glad to hear its fast. You see why a few of us suspected you would ditch the gas motor? Thanks, yah I'm really happy to have it running finally. I had one more set back I didn't post up here too. ...

Re: SIKK Fat Bike 49cc/MXUS 3000W Build

I wish I could be using it right now! I'm on a 2&1/2 hr bus ride to go 18.6 miles! But with the gas engine on it I'm not going to risk getting arrested. I only got 21,135mah from 3.55v to 4.15v 18s lipo anyway so it probably wouldn't make the round trip. This is where the gas would come...

Re: Mongoose dolomite fatbike? 7spd, disk brakes, INEXPENSIV

just went on my maiden voyage today. I had to use a big screw on freewheel spacer and a 5 speed instead of the 7 speed that came with the bike. But it all worked great! I could get all the gears while using the gas engine. I could go with the gas or the mxus 3000 4t v1. and the best part is I still ...

Re: SIKK Fat Bike 49cc/MXUS 3000W Build

It's been a while since I updated... Got the motor working to day and dang this thing is fast! I got it up to 42 mph verified by a free app. I really thought I'd be able to go 50 mph but 42 is definitely fast enough. This was on 120%. On 100% it went 38mph. On 50% it went 22-23mph perfect! And on 35...

That's 64.1 batt amps 119.8 phase amps. 18s lipo charged to 4.1v per cell. On 120% throttle So yah it was that last hall. I had to chip away at...

Re: improving MXUS 3000 V2

well I just tried the motor and yep that third hall is no good.
motor chugged then one time didn't move. gave it a spin and it chugged again.
I must have broke it trying to pry it out.
I'll be replacing that one tomorrow.
At least I just have to pop one cover off.

yah I read a little about the 120% throttle on that 99% or 100% thread.
I don't fully get it yet though.
Does it basically advance the timing?

Interesting that it go's from pulse to flat at 100% then back to pulse over 100%.

Re: Genesis V2100 - Assault & Battery - Illegal in all 50 St

cool thanks for the info.

Another question.
Did you hook up the temp sensor to your CA?
If so how did you do it?

I just ordered a CA v3 and I noticed there temp sensor plug is 2 wire.
So do you just use the white wire with either the black ground or red power wire from the halls?

Re: Genesis V2100 - Assault & Battery - Illegal in all 50 St

So slip charge mode.
What does this do exactly?
Does it kind of feel like engine braking?
Or is it more subtle?

Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike 1500w motor

okay sorry for being lazy lol so you got a 26 inch wheel right 26 x 3.14159 = 81.68inch per rev. 81.68 / 12 = 6.8 feet per rev. In you vid I saw about ~46.5v at max speed. 46.5 x 13.16kv = 611.94rpm. 611.94 x 6.8 = 4,161 feet per min. x 60 = 249,671 feet per hour. / 5280 feet in a mile = 47 mph Dang...

criiiips! that puppy can cook! So it can go 40-45 on 48v 80 bat amps!? (your pack is 12s lipo right?) common talk on this form is you have to go higher voltage to get higher speeds. seems like higher watts is really the ticket. I suppose at some point you'd need to do more volts though. I'm sorry I'...
