Re: SIKK Fat Bike 49cc/MXUS 3000W Build

Well got a buddy coming over to weld the TA within the next couple days. Got the 10AWG military spec PTFE today. This is some really nice wire. Vary easy to bend and a strong but thin insulation. Didn't measure it but looks like twice the size of the stock wires. 20150219_235247.jpg I used a diamond...

Re: Do this if you build your own battery

what's the best checker/balancer???? I agree the cell log 8's seem to be the winner for cell checkers. I've seen many peeps on here use them and I like the high voltage alarm function too. Great for when your bulk charging so you can be alerted if one cell gets too high. But what's the general conse...

Re: Genesis V2100 - Assault & Battery - Illegal in all 50 St

The big questions is, what changes have been made to the Stinky frame shape/swing arm over the years it has been available? I know right? They have changed it every year sometimes pretty drastically. They might have kept the same dimensions for there swing arm mount over the years. Looks like some ...

Re: Turnigy Multistar - lightweight 10C cells

Thanks for the quick reply and tips. Yah I like going a little easier on them cause I probably will be seeing these through for there deration. The voltages I'm testing at I should still be able to spot a bad one just by comparing to the other ones. (unless there all bad  ) Put the first one ...

Re: Turnigy Multistar - lightweight 10C cells

I have tested the 16Ah cells and I approve for 3C or 48A use. I just did discharge tests and they hold above 3.5v for 15.8AH and deliver 16.7AH down to 3.0v. Im going to do 1 more test to 4C or 64A. This will let me me know if I can run 1P on a 65A Lyen Controller with acceptable sag. the 3C test s...

Re: SIKK Fat Bike 49cc/MXUS 3000W Build

Then today when I went to pound the roll pin in the right side, the TA popped off again  I was ponding from the outside in again. On the other side I went from the inside and had no problem. I looked at the TA that popped off and there was a uniform layer on it. It was prob closer to .5mm thou...

Re: SIKK Fat Bike 49cc/MXUS 3000W Build

Round two on epoxying the TA's Yesterday I re glued the TA back on and had the bike right in the heat stream from my garage heater. This time I used some little strips of plastic for shims. They were 1mm thick but when I squeezed the caliper it went to 0mm. So I just used them and squeezed the crap ...

Here is a wide suspension fork of the Monark style, that is of the best quality made. http://sportsmanflyer.com Wow I'm mean just wow these forks are the bees knees! 500 buck is what my hole bike cost but if I ever get a fork for my bike these will be IT! yah I got mines from a recycle center and they are of every different variety. Surprisingly I still got a bunch of pairs at 3.5 ah and up out of the deal. Re: Testing the HP ESP-135 Server supply and isolation moddi

I'm thinking these would be great to use for a portable fast opportunity charger for touring! If one broke on the road, yah I'd be stuck somewhere with no fast charger, but at least I wouldn't be out much money's. (maybe I could bring a spare well wrapped up for bumps) And I'd still bring a balance ...

I've been thinking more about your idea and I don't see why this wouldn't work. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/download/file.php?id=109591 If you didn't want to do that many than just get one. It's called a dynamic balance charger. I think you can set it up to cycle each cell. (so it can be your ...

yes it should work, but i believe you have to do a resistor mod (for controller supply) and it probably needs additional low ESR caps which smooth out voltage spikes if you push it harder. set block time to zero. vrroooom! Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike 1500w motor

Bookmarked! I will be following with much excitement! So did you get the 731rpm/3 turn one? No of course there is no need for a sine wave controller with this motor, but it would be sweet because the closer you can get to %100 motor/controller/battery efficiency the way better. Mate that with a recu...
