Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike 1500w motor

Hmm I think I'll get one for the front of my fat bike. 5t, 4mm^2 wire, temp sensor, laced with 12g spokes to a 4x26" I have a 72v 15,4410 controller new and collecting dust. I just got two 60v controllers one with 15, 4410's and one with 15, 4110's. I'm going to probably use the 60v 4410 controller ...

wish that mxus wide axle motor was available before i laced up my hs3540 !!! +1 I wish it was available before I laced my mxus 3000w v1 Took me a minute to figure out how to get everything to work together since the stock axle has to be centered. Interesting to see they exited the cable on the outs...

Re: balance charger that delivers 4amps thru balance lead

okay so yes our talking about a bms. But also the prebuilt ebikes don't come with lipo either. No company in there right mind is going to sell a bike that may catch fire. No matter what all lipo, bms or not, are capable of catching fire. And no company would sell a bike you got to brake down the con...

okay got the two replaced and went to do the third.
But it's being a stickler about popping out of it's slot.
Is it appsolutely necessary to replace all three?
The wires on the third are holding up well.

Re: balance charger that delivers 4amps thru balance lead

Yah I'm thinking of using this psu and isolate it, if I do decide to try and build a 18s dynamic balance charger. http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=40167 It does appear that mushymelon does brake down his 24s batteries series connections before he charges too. So I guess I was wr...

Re: balance charger that delivers 4amps thru balance lead

You can't use two of them to charge a 12s however you supply them. It's also a waste of money. You could buy proper ev kit for less. The gains of which are huge. Okay so how come people are doing this with multiple different dynamic balance chargers. Like for instance the bc186. http://endless-sphe...

So I'll have plenty for boo boo's. :| Might use the extras for brake switches too. Read somewhere on here of someone using halls and little magnets they...

Well I have a new problem now. Most of these cells are 4.2v. Is there a charger that will do 4.2v? I found this out too using the Imax b6 ac.
