Re: If I don't log in, some topics don't show up, why?

All the coronavirus topics were moved to Toxic, which I believe is a good move. Dont want corona-virus flooding General Chat. I think there should be an off topic section too.

Just go to your Homeless Despot and grab some 1/4" steel and your angle grinder, grab some hose clamps and call it a day.

Re: Advice on first eBike build- would this be a good choice?

You have to look at the speeds and the terrain you will be riding, then select choice of motor from there.

I have not used studded tires and still ride glare ice in patches with ease. Its when its ice + water on top where my shoes and feet dont like it. Wet feet while ebiking and not pedaling is not fun.

MXUS factory is on ali, probably cheaper then buying from a 3rd party or counterfeiter.

Would you know where to find the 5000 MXUS for sale? Only see the 3000 MXUS on aliexpress which is what I bought before

"better than a Sondors" is not hard to achieve.
Ya but it still has all the shitty components on the sondors once upgraded to more powerful hub motor or mid drive. Only bonus is the battery compartment.

You may have to wait until Grintech has gears back in stock.
You could email them and ask how long it will be.

I dont see anything in search

Re: Luna "Tiny" Sinewave Controller with BBSHD

Luna rebrands products, they also make some product in house, like adapters and such, something thats easy for a CNC machine to do, or the machine shop next door to Luna. I heard him state exactly that in a video. Controllers do fry, I fried a mosfet in a Lyen where I was having a hard time figuring...

Re: throttle with yellow wire gives swapped action?

Its usually the case that the Chinese assembly line will just use whatever wire is closest to hand to solder said wire to throttle. They prefer speed over and standardized methodology wire color code. But trouble shooting a throttle is good to do, I have fried a couple throttles hooking them up wrong.

Re: Ebike kit advice.

A solid kit to buy would be a rear hub motor Leaf 1500W if the power suits your needs, it can go much higher then that. If you require more power in a rear hub motor then a MXUS 3000W would do you just fine. If you require a mid drive then a BBSHD or CycloneTW would do you just fine as well. Then yo...

Re: We ordered a 2020 Mini Cooper electric!

I just bought my second Volt The more I read about EV's, the more I am impressed by the Volt. And this is coming from a guy who is skeptical about anything from Detroit, and especially from GM. I was genuinely sad when they discontinued them. If I win the lottery, a used Chevy Volt is going to be o...

But in France, no licence? No problem. You can s...
