Re: Yescom 48v 1000w kit

Battery issue, if you want cheap go with HobbyKing, Tunrigy Hardcase, 14.8V 5Ah......add in a good charger ($100+) Like a dual channel!!!!! iCharger!!!!!!!

But then you might want a battery controller module, name escapes me now. Then thats when you get prepacked batts, crank out the cc #'s!!!!!!!!!

Re: What would you do?

True dat, props brutha. Im getting psych'ed bro, I am getting hyper, cant wait to ride my first ever, SUPER-POWERED ebike. Its like the 454 stroked out, going from a wimpy Dodge Colt all road legal (Bionx I rode at the bike store, 32km/h pfffffffffft!), to a Dodge Viper (My ebike) I already scoped o...

This just confirms my idea of staying at 74V, even at that my motor on the simulator is like 60km/h. I think I will be scared at 50!

What would you do?

I got some big blade connectors that are on the Lyen Controller, I need to hook up to some Anderson Powerpoles on the motor. Should I solder up some blade-PP wires? for a temporary or fixed rig. I already have the female blades supplied, its the PP's that I dont have. I have some HobbyKing bullet co...

Re: Amazon plans to use drones!!!

I was thinking about the Amazon drones a few days ago, it got me wondering......it would be totally cool to have drones delivery door-to-door advertisement mailing.

I heard about the profit/loss as well on Amazon. It amazes me that they actually loose money, but their shares go up. Its a rarity!

Re: Electric/Gas Truck

Been thinking about my idea again today. Thanks for those links btw. I was just cruising my "View your posts" page, came upon this. Figured I would shoot some other ideas out there. I like the electric front, gas rear idea. With a Chevrolet Blazer 4x4, IFS, 4 door, automatic. One solution is to have...

Whats a good case for Samsung S4? Unlocking?

My last phone I got unlocked, bought from pay as you go Fido, needed Virgin on a plan. Cost me $80 to unlock. I was wondering, it cant really be that hard to do and the repair stores act like its an all day job and charge ya $80 for what is probably not much time to do. Is it worth using a very good...

Re: MXUS 3000 Hub Motor

Well, I was playing around with it. And if you move the wheel diameter smaller, you get longer range, less speed of course. It was interesting to see that with my own eyes on the motor simulator.

I know, this motor seems pretty good to me. I meant crazy as in awesome! What other motors on the ebikes.ca motor simulator list are close to this motor? So I can assume the ebikes.ca listing on motor simulator is 4504_V2, check this out........crazy! 20% grade, overheats in 4 minutes @ 12km/h.........

Re: Anyway to achieve these specs for less than 1000 dollars

Go with a yescomusa kit, or a em3ev kit, or a ebikes.ca kit, or several others that are always recommended on here.
And be sure whatever you do, get the wheel and motor mounted and trued. Live and Learn!

MXUS 3000 wheel truing problems

I am trying to true up my hub motor and rim, I put washers on the disc brake rotor side and no washers on the cassette side. I got done putting all the spokes in, loosely and I go to test fit the motor. Seems the motor itself is a little wide. So I take off my rear disc brake and my rear derailleur ...

Hit and run, causing injury and/or leaving the scene of an accident with injury, is demerit points (same as DUI) and should very well be immediate jail term! Immediate loss of license, GUILTY until proven innocent (Exactly like a DUI)

Re: Problem with LiPo battery pack build

Parallel adds current, so you had too much current through the connector. I have got no definitive answers anywhere as to how much current is rated for a type of connector, but I would assume the 6.5mm bullet would be upwards of 100A, but your connection is critical to the openratio as well, if its ...

Is there something special with 20S batteries? Because they are cheap and plentiful?
When you say hardcase you mean the 14.8V 5Ah 4S1P ones from Hobbyking? So you want to be around the 74V mark? Lots of controllers to choose from?

Re: Build Thread: best bang for $1000

Hardcase Lipos from Hobbyking, I bought 18 in total, at somewhere around $21 each. Pretty decent price, you need to do some research on the charger, I think the dual channel iCharger is the way to go, way more money ($100+), but well worth it. I went with a rc charger from hobbyking iMax b8, it does...

Motorcycle Stores now carrying electric dirt bikes

I went into a local new motorcycle store today, and they had a 20A I assume because it had a 20 sticker on it with 48V labelled on small kids e-dirt bike. The OSET was on the showroom floor, small units made for kids. I actually wanted to look at the Suzuki 400cc enduros, but I will rebuild mine for...
