Hi I already measured it and it's 1 1/8", and is 175mm from the top of the steerer down to the point the bearing rests on. Thanks for the link. And the advice about the threadless steerer- I'll work my way through the site. I was beginning to think I'd have to reuse the fork and add a torque arm on ...

the wheel is 700c which is 29" so those 26 ones sadly are no go. And mine is threaded so the threaded (they are on that site) are no go too. :(

still looking.........

Is there a convertor to change 1 1/8 threaded steerer to the Ahead threadless type?

Forks for Crystalyte 5304

I need a set of forks for a front wheel Crystalyte 5304 but am struggling to find anything and to get clearance for the motor. Clearance needs to be for 83mm wide motor for at least 125mm above the wheel spindle. (drawing attached) The original forks have a 1 1/8" threaded stem 175mm (7") long. Anyo...
