The caps are marked .plus you need a multi meter just to start playing with it. You always need to check polarity and I don't mean the red and black wire I mean check the polarity of the wires a must on all Chinese goods

Open your controller look inside and see if you have a 75 volt caps or 63 volt caps . If 63v don't charge your battery over 62volts. Do you have a multimeter or volt meter ?

Re: Battery advice for a novice first bike build

Yes the rear rack looks the easiest with your mid Drive. Just remember to always lock it up. Just measure before you buy or get a cardboard box cut it up and make it the size of the battery to see how well it fits for you.

The Samsung 30q is a 15amp cell. The Samsung 35e is a 8amp cell. That doesn't mean you use the cell at 8 amps.

Yes lghg2 or the Samsung 30q not the 35e 4p. At lease. Ping is a good battery to begin with if it fits .The Ping battery is bigger heavier . Get the 5 amp charger. I too don't like all the 18650 connections for a pack. And half cycle life. it's all a compromise just don't go too cheap there's a whol...

Re: How long is it safe to use an ebike battery?

Fully charge for 12 hours or more . This will give the battery a chance for bms it is very very slow to balance it may take twice as long. Check voltage let set overnight then check. did you in the past take it off the charger as soon as it turn green or to leave it on the charger for hours and hour...

The pack has one or two thermal switches that when they detect heat it shuts everything down but doesn't mean it shuts it down before it's too late and is vented gas and let cell to cell to cell to cell caught on fire. But at the over designed of most bosch products and because they use it at a very...
