Re: Denzel 72v 4-spd Gearbox Build 125cc Dual Sport

It is really hard to shift at the moment, not sure if its because the drive is new or not? If i had to guess its 2x harder than shifting a honda motorcycle. To go further into detail, before i added the hand lever, it was impossible to shift the little chrome foot lever im using with your hand...it ...

Re: Denzel 72v 4-spd Gearbox Build 125cc Dual Sport

Wow that could have turned ugly. Yet another situation where a real clutch lever could have helped. Or a kill switch etc etc To clarify, if you are riding with the throttle applied and a branch snags your throttle wire, the controller will apply full amps? 0-5k throttle? Only if the negative wire b...

Re: Denzel 72v 4-spd Gearbox Build 125cc Dual Sport

Looks like it might be a good idea to see if you can tie in the brake lever switches (or at least one of them) to stop the motor. Most motorcycles have a kill switch on the handlebars too. Ya that may be a good idea! The stock front brake lever had a reed switch on it, maybe it will fit on this one...

I was having no luck with the front brake caliper on the Zongshen dual sport and the front tire was very warped... So i ripped the front end off the bike, and shitty ungreased ball bearing went flying all over my yard! I knew i was in for the long haul at this point! IMG_4654.jpg IMG_4655.jpg IMG_46...

Re: Denzel 72v 4-spd Gearbox Build DB17

Cool skeetab, nice to see this coming together. Is that Denzel gearbox using the D4500 motor from Denzel? Seems that is a 1500 kw motor? I wonder how the gearbox would hold up to say a powerfull 10-15 + kw RC motor? It would still be a relatively decent weight, but should put a little extra smile o...

I rode this thing around for over an hour yesterday and its pretty impressive. It's alive! Nice work. Seems to run OK. It will be interesting to see how it does at full speed. Its using a Magura pot throttle and there is a slight dead spot in the front, i have no resistors in the circuit just selected pot throttle via Kelly programming. The motor jerks the chain a bit before ...

Got the bike out for a test ride!!! Stay tunes for the fun So i got a shifter to work by cutting it in half, but its not ideal since you can only kick it down and it starts in fourth gear...Luckily its a semi auto so no big deal for now IMG_4605.jpg IMG_4606.jpg IMG_4607.jpg IMG_4608.jpg Welded a fr...

That is probably a much smarter idea, but the way the seat stay is designed and how tight my LIPO pack is inside the area i cannot alter it in any way to make it lower unless i get a custom seat fabricated (this will likely be easiest) since my seat is basically a klx110 seat screwed in place its at...

thats obviously a clone Kubergs are like $5k or more. Look like a decent little motor but like a 12 fet 2500w controller Kuberg motors mount to the drive face, they are not floor mounted...so that kit doesnt match the pictures FYI Either way that is a good price for a frame only! really cheap...I pa...

Ive been eyeing these bikes for some time on Ebay, I actually like the look of it and wish they sold the frame only. For $2400 its too much if it was $1200 id buy one for kicks, you know me -a few things to point out, they say speed goes up to 50mph when you cut limit wire which requires way more th...
