Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

PAS (cadence only) on a high power bike makes no sense, you need to have torque mesurement and the correct algorythms in order to have someting smooth. We are working with the controllers manufaturer on futher improvements to the code for future firmware updates, especially above 35km/h where the ca...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

As far as we know, It is the only one in over 90 64bikes out in the field. It was one of our prototype frames, built almost one year before we got the first 64h out, and before we got the serial production aluminium tubes, the tubes forming processus and actual alloy are different. I think the bike ...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Oh, you should still use the flange of the old sproket with this new one.
We did not get those flanges re-made in steel yet but I guess it will be neccecary form some pics I received of our testers.

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Well, the most wear I guess would be from skipping teeth.
On our test bike it was pretty dramatic difference with the same belt, old sproket with low km was skipping under full acceleratation, new sproket did not skip. Same belt.

Testing the steel sprokets. The angle is bigger and the torque handling seem to be higher.

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Front sporket wear is quite fast on the 12T, it is due to the low teeh count. For long chain and sprokets life, it is best to clean the chain on each muddy ride with wd40 to remove contaminents and prevent rust. We also have available the CZ chains with master links, they are heavier and stronger, w...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Thanks for your report Joe!
It seems like a stronger sproket will solve most of the issue then.
Steel sprokets are on order, but we were quoted 45 days at least.

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

I would suggest to remove 1 link (2 pins) from your chain if you have tension issues.
The chain need a 219 kart chain breaker.

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

This LMX 81 frame was produced in 2017, since that we improved the welding process and design. On the pictures of the 81 it looks like a longer shock than 200mm was used, that could also lead to higher/different loads than intended. We have been in contact with the customer, offered repairs for this...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Thanks for the feedback, we are working with our suppliers on steel belts sprokets.
In the meantime I can send you a replacement alu sprokets with improved profile.
I would like to know if it does still slip with a new sproket and same belt.

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

We just received the 118T sprokets with one integrated flange and assembled two bikes using this. The sproket profile has been improved from V1 and should last longer, while we find a solution for 14T steel sprokets.

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

We have shorter ones available, but they have a wider Q factor and only the hole is mooved inwards, so they have the same lenght as the 170mm ones. We are waiting an order for miranda for new 170mm cranks, they could also provide them with shorter length, but with the ongoing situation shippments ge...

Re: MID drive 1500W (135€) and 3100W (280€) brusheless motors

Well, our motor can crank cout 8.5 HP at the shaft for 10-30 second peaks, and 3.1 HP for 50 minutes but the issue may be the heat for continuous riding with a lot of acceleration and stops. How long are the riding sessions?
