Re: what's that sound?

Had my maiden voyage today, first time riding more than a few meters in the driveway. All went fine, but after around 20min a strange sound started inside the motor. When I had a similar sound it was grit in the teeth of the main drive cog (the one with the sprag clutch bearing in it). To check, re...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive and 850C and SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I have both the 36v & 48v motors on separate bikes, you can run both at the voltages you state but the 36v motor at sustained higher wattage will burn out. A real world example of this would be the 1 mile hill climb I do to a trail head near me, using the bike with the 36v motor at a sustained 550 ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive and 850C and SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

General question I just installed a 36v tsdz2 motor and 850c display that came pre flashed with v19 of the OSF. Is there any physical difference between the 36v motor (as identified by sticker in motor case) and the 52v motor ? Are they the same motor. ? I’m wondering if I should have gotten the 48...

Re: TSDZ2 open source firmware only for KT-LCD3 (v0.19.0 / v.0.20.0beta1)

I also have the LCD3 on two bikes, one running v0.19 & the other v0.20, it is great that there is still potential development for this screen. Thanks to all those making this happen. I would like to draw attention to the motor runaway issue mentioned here and in a few other posts: https://endless-sp...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only) for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Really appreciate the answer! Can you please post some pictures with the custom tools? My problems are now only with the pull/push of the sensor to the frame. Hopefully this is the part of the puzzle you are missing, I worked out how to get the torque sensor out with the image below from the repair...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

In the repair manual (available here) they use a gear puller.

From my own personal experience I have always been able to gently ease it out by hand, Jbalat shows it in his video to replace the sprag clutch:

Hope this helps.

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hi, we are having real problems with downed motors, well not really drowned but we are having probably the worst winter for mud and deep muddles that I can remember and the motors are having to put up with some real adverse conditions. Never the less we are two motors down with the same symptoms. S...
