Re: Need help converting stock TSDZ2 from 48V to 52V

ah yes I see the display is a bit more involved....but this is another example of why windows is sh!te ie that apt burn program   it insists on selecting a 'com port'....a com port is a serial port.....I haven't used one of those for about 10 years  I want to use a 'USB port' ...

Re: Need help converting stock TSDZ2 from 48V to 52V

Hi Linux fan here cos windows sucks  so I'll try and give a little feedback... Why are you using a file from 'eco-bike' website? The latest open source firmware is here methinks: https://github.com/OpenSource-EBike-firmware/TSDZ2-Smart-EBike/releases/tag/v0.20.0-beta.1 The file you use is an as...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hmmm... The more I read the more concerned I become. Now that I have the motor delivered I see what a tiny little motor that really is. Not only compared to one of my DD Crystalyte motor, but also compared to a MAC hubmotor or even a Bafang BBS. I also now see why this is REALLY only a 500W motor, ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I already use my 15S1P 21700 LG 5000mAh for more than 100km, 60% mountain. That's sounds amazing for a 15 cell battery!!! So how many watts is that? How much do you and the bike weigh? I'm looking to buy a 750w motor and a 850C display from pswpower......anybody know if I need to buy any extra cabl...

Re: DIY custom frames, home carbon-fiber method simplified

@paradad or anyone else that's interested
how easy would it be to DIY a simple frame like below, redesigned to have a battery pack under the seat and a motor on the front wheel where the gearhub is?

Re: Motor for fast e-bike

fast e-bike = recumbent - good aerodynamics and low centre of gravity
something like this? with the gearhub replaced by a motor and a pack of those eig batteries under the seat

Re: 20Ah li-on NMC cells UK London new boxed £9 each on 50

Weird looking things I'm trying to get my head around the config and @amberwolf seems to think these things are magic :D Soooooo in 1 of your pics you have 10 cells, 2 lots of 5 with the metal clamp here (the 2nd image) https://imgur.com/a/NEzsbRo I think that one could maybe fit inside a bike frame...

Re: Half a plan....what battery and how fast can I go?

The thread with 168 pages or the one with 252 pages?? <where's the 'got a sweat on' smilie?> I'm prepared to pedal like Forest Gump to break the speed limit, which is generally 50kmh or 80kmh over here  As I understand it the motor has a built in controller? I'm not particularly bothered about ...

Half a plan....what battery and how fast can I go?

Hi folks Daily cyclist here but I fancy getting on the 'electric highway' as I'm getting on a bit  So I think I'm going to use a Decathlon Riverside as a donor with a Tongsheng TSDZ2 750w mid motor and I'll stick the open source software on it as I'm an open source fan! I'm a lightweight at les...

Re: No Solder, No welding 48v 20Ah. Cheap battery Pack

How much does it weigh??
Weight is everything in cycling to my mind (and to my body lol)
I want to come to India and buy a motorbike but I can't own one as a foreigner :(
SO maybe I can come over, kit out an electric cycle and try and make it back to Europe :lowbatt:
