I see you put the instructions for getting a board from PCBway.com as well, so can get one there too. Thank you for the great work! Looks awesome

Re: BT Interface for TSDZ2 Open Source firmware - Work in progress

Well I'm very excited. I would buy a board off of you once you don't need it anymore. Yes i will receive few extra cards (the cost difference between 10 board was only 20% more than 5 and i'we ordered 10 boards) , and I gladly give them at the cost I paid. But I would like to clarify that I am not ...

Re: No reply from lithiumbatterypcb.com - are they still alive?

Oh boy. At least Im not alone having this problem with lithiumbatterypcb.com. I've sent them RFQ on April 19th, and by 23rd everything was good to go. They were replying fast to my questions, between 24 and 48 hours. Ive paid their Paypal invoice on 23rd, and was told my order will ship out by 29th...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

You must not download a hex file, but the master code of stancecoke github chamnnel and then follow the guide. With step 7 If you have connected the STlink V2 to the Tsdz2, the code will be compiled and flashed (program, data, option memory) But there are some conditions that the bat file needed ot...

New firmware: TSDZ2 cadence increase from 90 to 120 RPM as also motor power "amplification" on this same high cadence You guys get ready for the most advanced and powerful TSDZ2 firmware!! This is the first time I made the version as 1.0.0 because all major features about TSDZ2 motor control are no...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

Yesterday I flashed my 36V motor with 48V stock firmware and it worked well. Today I want to try out OS firmware with VLCD5 display. I read the wiki and skimmed through the manuals. However, I didn't understand how to flash the controller. After running JavaConfigurator and pressing "Compile & Flas...

Re: BT Interface for TSDZ2 Open Source firmware - Work in progress

A small update on the project. The test of the first version of the PCB Board went quite well. Some small problems have emerged in the design of the PCB board that I have already corrected and I have just ordered the new version with the necessary modifications. The board also is open source and it...

Re: New Hub Motor w Built-in Controller - Not working?

Good catch, I'm not sure what that is, I bolted the plates back on. There wasn't any frictional sounds when it first operated. I messaged the distributor that I purchased it from, they said its a hall sensor issue. I feel like its not. There's a plug that connects to the hall sensors and I unplugged...

Re: New Hub Motor w Built-in Controller - Not working?

Thank you Dan, I tried unplugging the hall wires to see if it would behave any different, didn't change anything. I agree that its sounding like shorted phase wires. The fets all look okay, but I don't have a really trained eye in that sense. I don't see any black ash marks anywhere or anything like...

Alright guys so I have been wracking my brain trying to think of what this could possibly be and my only idea is this The wiring that is used for the windings is a coated wire, right? -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnet_wire It almost seems like that coating has failed somewhere and it is causin...

New Hub Motor w Built-in Controller - Not working?

Hi guys Here is the problem, So its a brand new Motor, the first time I turned on the motor the display showed a very erratic speedometer reading all over the place. The motor itself would not spin, and when the throttle was applied, a loud BUZZing sound with the motor locking into place happenned. ...

Re: TSDZ2 Throttle + Temp Rollback Possibility?

Really appreciate both of your responses Casainho and Amberwolf Another question : Would it be possible to have some relatively low tech interface in between the battery and the controller that can power and monitor a temperature sensor and deliver output current based on the value of that sensor? Re: Undervolting KT Controller = Feeding 48V in 72V Controller?

I guess there is no harm in trying to hook it up then? I'm not going pop any capacitors or anything right? If the LVC has been hit it just won't power the motor right?

Thank you very much for your response by the way

Undervolting KT Controller = Feeding 48V in 72V Controller?

Hi there everyone, I'm trying hard to source a 60A 48V KT Controller but I am not having any luck. I have a 72V 60A KT Controller and it was paired with the 72V KTLCD3 Screen. If I connect the 72V Controller to a 36/48V Display, and program it for 48V, will it allow the controller to run at 48V? Or ...

Very cool, I've been printing at 240c and 70C at the bed, tiny bit of stringiness. What kind of printer are you using?

And very cool about to hear about the Spring Steel PEI Sheets, didn't even know those were out there.

Oh wow, love the design, looks like a lot of intention behind the routing of the wires. Very cool. Yes I gotchya on the BT now.
I've started printing in PETG now, and am getting my bigger printer up to speed, and then will resume printing prototypes.

Re: 3D Printed Hailong/Reention Style E-Bike Battery Case

I agree, even a material like PETG is quite temperature resistant and easy to print. I really like the idea of having lightweight swappable battery packs, kind of like a drill or an impact gun. I'm going to make them anyways. Most things fail so I don't care if it fails. Its fun to make things anyw...
