Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor

Hello guys, I plan to buy this motor https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/32814323134.html (1500w - 48v). For speed purposes, I'll power it with a 72V battery (20s). I bought a 72v 18mosfets KT controller which ya all know is flashable so I can set a current limit. Few questions here : Is there any risk t...

Re: Chinese controller to power chinese motor

Thanks for ur insight.

So, I can read max Amps at 48v:

Max Pout 2948w : 86,56A
Max torque : 91A

If I set the max phase current to 56A it should be fine in terms of heating ? (91A x (48v/72v) = 56A) .

Re: Chinese controller to power chinese motor

I asked the seller if there is any risk to use a 20s battery instead of a 14s, they told me I'd damage the motor this way, max is 14s.

Not very sure about the trueness of that answer, seems like a commercial trick to sell they 72v kit (expensive though).

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW

Hi everyone, So I bought a KT 6 mosfets controller to drive my 250w hub motor mounted on an eBike. With factory parameters (ie no custom firmware) it runs properly. So I flashed a custom firmware but the motor runs very slowly and with a lot of noise, tried many parameters but I got the same issue. ...
