Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I use a 52V battery and most terrain I ride is hilly. I'm lucky to get 30-40 minutes of ride time before overheating at medium assist levels. I'm not sure why you are bothering to be part of this thread, even you would have to admit to compare a Bafaung HD to a TSDZ2 is like comparing a mini to V8 ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Jeff and HughF I am really interested in all of these starting power questions. Jeff what made you switch displays? I use my motor on a heavy cargo bike where I want a lot of torque off the line and a fast response, which I get right now from 0.20beta on the display [that shall not be mentioned in ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Hi Jeff.page.rides I tried a few of the settings you suggested, to help with starting from a dead stop. Here is what I found. 1. Motor/Max Current = 30, Current Ramp = 10 Torque Sensor/ Assist w/o pedal rotation = Disabled, Boost = disabled (which is enabled), Min ADC = 10 Result: pressure on the p...

With the torque sensor calibrated and enabled it does work as good but different than it did with it disabled. I have it set up so my maximum output is 850 watts. To start from a dead stop the cra...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Jeff, from your post it sounds like you have two cycles, one you pedal and one that is hand crank; is this correct? I dont bother with full torque sensor calibration, I just set the maximum weight to whatever I weigh at the time of calibration. Usually around 73kgs as my weight is stable, and I'm a...

Yes my handcycle and my wife's bike. If you could see on the photo # 8 is set at 99 pounds all I can pull or push and 199 ACD the highest I could get when riding. You can see in the photo # 1 is set at 0 weight and 130 ACD with no weight on the cranks. Then I just set the rest at even spaces. I hav...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Jeff, do you have assistance without pedal rotation enabled? I tried it both ways, one way schutters and then starts to go the other way the power doesn't start for at least 2 rotations. Yep, it stutters for me too, but because I always ride at a very high assist level (13 by default on my sw102), ...
