Look at the back of your phone. Samsung Galaxy S6 measures blood oxygen level.
Fwiw I had to uninstall Samsung Health and reinstall version 6.4 (got it from apkpure) to re-enable the functionality on my S10+. They removed it from more recent versions of the app, at least in Canada, for reasons.

Hey Matt, what does an "oximeter" do exactly? It sounds like an interesting home tool that may be useful, but I want to understand a bit more.

Save them for shiv's just in case society goes medieval. Can use the blades for a shank. Re: at home test- how to decide to call 911 for covid-19

I was cursing Samsung because they had removed the spo2 function from shealth on the galaxy phones, but was able to download an older version to get it back. Been hovering mid to low 90%'s with the occasional dip into the high 80's when things start really feeling labored and my breaths tend to get ...

I think I'm going to see if I can get in touch with my barber and send him a 50 if he'll take it. Been going there for well over a decade, bring my son there too. Would like to see him remain in business despite this situation and that's about what I would have spent for a pair of cuts with tip. I'l...

Re: Crash Thread - lucky

Since we're laughing at our own misfortune I might as well join in. Few weeks back I was in our driveway bs'ing with a buddy of mine and said "wanna see something cool?" Went to do a burnout. Squeezed the front brake, pushed down and forward while straddling the bike. Leaned on the throttle and imme...

I suspect he promised to be good. Chalo probably just told them to pound sand up the tip of their.... You get the ...

Re: ebay seller aaccessories - C$239.90 w/ free s/h for 1kw Front Fat Kit

I know last year they stopped selling their hub motor kits, I was lucking to snag a fat front hub for cheap, but then had to lace it in a rim, which still came out at a reasonable price. Now when I go and look at aaccessories ebay store, they are not around anymore. I am 99.9% sure I got the spelli...

Re: charger 3kw

Curious. If the cell manufacturer specs their cell at 4.2v as a maximum, how can it be harmfully overcharged if it never reaches 4.2? Or are you saying the solar system might not be creating enough energy to actually allow whatever is controlling cutoff to actually trigger said cutoff because it do...

Re: What could I do in the predicament?

In a gentler use case like House banks, or say high capacity solar storage, you definitely will see lower cycle longevity for a bank frequently discharging at say 1.5C, as opposed to 0.5C maybe even half the number of cycles. It is only at even C lower rates that the life-extending effect reaches d...

Re: What could I do in the predicament?

Nope, same thing. C-rate is just **a unit** of measurement. The acceptable "peak output" might be 5C, while highest continuous is 1.5C. Of course the **vendor ratings** are pure fiction. And you may not agree with what one forum tester accepts as OK, it really is a judgment call how much you priori...

Thanks for the clarification. I'm still getting used to thinking in terms of c rate. My mind was still stuck on continuous discharge rating, which would increase proportionally with additional packs in parallel.
