Re: Any suggestions on this

sounds like something motor, could have shorted phase wires, bad combo. you bought this as a fixer upper might as well pull the motor and start inspecting, maybe some pictures. edit. never mind I didn't watch video, thought it was a large scooter/bike not skateboard scooter

48v 50amp fresh off charger can deliver 2730 watts
52v 30amp fresh off charger can deliver 1764 watts
you sure the 52v isn't 17.5ah?

Re: Help building battery triangle 20s10p

thanks for the info on the battery. i don't have money right now to buy new cells so i will just have to deal with it and once they break ill upgrade to some better cells. I know what that's like, my first e bike had the m26 battery and it almost turned me off ebikes. heres a link to rg12 experienc...

Re: Help building battery triangle 20s10p

I had a 4p of m26 run at 20 amp, awfull battery. you want 100amps from 10p of m26 so 10amps/cell. its 500 lifecycle at standard 0.5amp discharge, it lost 70% capacity. me running at 5amp max per cell, I didn't even get 200 cycles out of it. heres a test of the m26 https://lygte-info.dk/review/batter...

Re: Hall sensor confusion

are you testing with the motor controller connected and powered on? if not, the halls won't get the pullup voltage required to have valid hall signals (unless you do this yourself with a resistor). also, if you had cable damage, especially at the axle, and both phase and hall wires were damaged, th...

Re: 19" Motorcycle Wheels vs 26" Bicycle Wheels (rim and tires)

Hey guys, would any of you know the best type of washers to use for smaller 12 gauge nipples on the motorcycle rims? This would be so a smaller nipple would be able to be used in a larger motorcycle rim hole. What is the best material to use? Thanks I knew I read it here somewhere, found the link t...

Re: Cheapest high torque fast bike?

I should mention if I run them at 5p and 40 amps the volt sag aint bad like 4/5 volts on my tired pack. I charge to 4.1v/cell and discharge right to 3.0v/cell sometimes less, if my packs voltage is low sometimes my sag will dip down to 2.8v/cell or 48v so I don't have to walk the bike home but these...

I bought 200 used 25r last year for $2 each. right now im running 17s4p of 25r at 2500 watts, if I hop on the bike and go for a typical ride, I spend about 1/3 of the ride at 65km/h average speed will be about 36km/h(stopping at red lights kills the average speed) but im usually cruising at 45km/h a...

Re: E-Trike Design: Balloon Tires vs Dedicated suspension

if youre building it I would run the fat tires and put a spring suspension in your seat.. I have a hardtail cruiser with a suspension seat and my ass sits over the rear tire. I ran 26x2.50 and id still feel the cracks in the road. switched 24x3.0 and the ride softened out so much I tried a normal se...

Re: Some Motors Incompatible with Statorade / Ferrofluid cooling?

I run 15ml grin statorade in a hs3540r-10rpm/v at 2500 watts. at 4000?km had it open and it was like brand new inside, statorade hadn't been absorbed by the glue. after first trip of having opened it, a little statorade had leaked out the sidecover seam, so I retorqued the sideplate screws and all i...

when I look at the wastelands, I see buildings and it looks like everyone threw their personal belongings out their windows and just left. what happened, where did they go. if things got bad you would still need a roof over your head. so I get a dark thought but maybe they were moved to a new buildi...

id be tempted to put those parts on a chinese stealth bomber frame or any full suspension MTB. atleast you would have pedals and be somewhat street legal, if only by appearance.
