Re: Sabvoton SVMC072150 controller review, variable regen *PICS*

Just a quick FYI here - regarding regen (at least from my experience). Variable Regen, High-Brake, and Low-Brake are each independently functioning systems. Ergo, none of them need to be activated for another to work. Low-Brake - Cuts power to the motor when pulled low (ground) High-Brake - Engages ...

Re: Upload failed XPD Version 0.4.1a

Has anyone tried the Download and Upload functionality in XPD Version 0.4.1a with a 124110ST-MII-LYEN EDITION controller ? I've been able to Download the parameters OK but when try to upload the same values (no changes) I get :- "Upload failed: byte must be in range(0, 256)" It looks like the defau...

Re: $14.99 72v Sunwin Controller

My guess is the 'jerk' you're feeling is overcurrent protection kicking in, and the controller shutting off briefly. In my experience, a blown mostfet isn't too far off if you're tripping it regularly. I believe over-current protection kicks in at 60A, but I'm not certain of this. (I've been able to...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW

luckily these 18fets are all the same, I got 3, each from different seller. Are you running the custom FW? Ha, yes and no. I built + flashed it without issue... but I haven't been able to run it yet. I figured I'd rewire all the external leads while I was adding the STLink + UART(bluetooth) jumpers...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW

These are the photos I took when I first got the controller. It's external branding is "RisunMotors", and appears to be identical to one posted (by you stancecoke?) on the bitbucket site. Branding changes AGAIN on the amazon listing - a company called "HalloMotor" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW

First, thank you all for your work on the firmware and documentation surrounding the KT controllers and their analogues. I've flashed it - but have been unable to test .... because I hadn't taken any good (helpful) photos of the internal wiring/pads before rewiring it. Heh. It's the 18 Fet controlle...

Re: $14.99 72v Sunwin Controller

Sup y'all! Been lurking here all summer - feeding my new ebike obsession - and I've gathered a TON of info from everyone here. I figured it's about time to give back. There's a lot more where this came from, and I will be consolidating all the documents I have over the next week in a git repo. If th...
