Re: Another "stealth bomber" build.

I think the main issue with the frame is the soft steel, it is a problem especially in the dropouts. They are also a bad fit for the axle, so I think you will have problems with the shaft and dropouts if you don't do anything. Especially if you use regen. I used hard metal shims between the axle and...

If I understand correctly you get 8v on the brake light wire when you have the lights on?
It sounds like a ground problem to your lights in that case.

See if you can measure directly on the cells on group 12, is it still 0 on all of them?

Re: KTM 200 exc goes electric

Thanks Well, I should have made an effort to flip the frame around.. There are some "dry spray" or what it may be called in English: https://i.imgur.com/A0MNWW1.jpg It looks good on the underside though.. It is not to bad, most of it will be covered. But I think at least 2 places will be visible. We...

2) Seems like ferrofluid (genuine Statorade) doesn't work above a certain speed ? I noticed that after I did the FW runs, the motor would overheat again much more easily than normal, even at lower speeds and after it had cooled somewhat. Possibly the FF creeps away from the air gap due to the centr...

One "controversial" example The Powervelocity guy says "FOC implementation in VESC is likely the best in its class. It is in fact FOC done the right way." While others state they just use sinusoidal commutation - while better than trap type controllers (less ripple) - Powervelocity controllers are ...

A nucular 12fet, or even 6fet if it gets finished may be something.
You can program "hot keys" on the display to do what you want, but it can be found if they test to hold down the button for a few seconds. Or you can set up a hidden switch, or maybe a button if you prefer. (not sure)

Hi..great build! I have a qs205 motor as well in an EEB frame. Im not using a 24F but Im using the sabvoton 72200. I see what you mean about top speed. Im also not able to get past the 85-90kph mark...so Im always curious how other builds on youtube etc are getting over 100kph and sometimes on lowe...

Very nice :thumb:
I want something like this on my ktm, but I am using contactors for the full power from the batteries, and a relay for the pre charge. I guess I dont need to use the relay, but my resistor is only 20 ohms if I remember correct. It all comes from an electric car.

Re: Mxus 3k vs Qs205

Sure it will overheat fast at max output, but I can only use that for a (very) few seconds before I reach top speed anyway. To be able to use that longer, you would have to pull a trailer or something. And as I said, it is hard to keep the front wheel down. It works if I sit on the frame, in front o...

Is a dc automatic fuse an option? I use two 100A fuses in paralell, but I usually only turn on one. They seem to be able to take short bursts of 300A.
