Re: Preorder. PV NextGen FOC 130v 200/600A 25kw - $499

So too some degree, this controller is torque limiting when accelerating from a standing start? And is this adjustable? I’m not interested in smooth transition into power. But instant maximum capacity from 0 rpm. Is this controller capable on being programmed for 400 battery amps and 600 phase amps ...

Re: Are there any high powered 96v controllers out there

Votol em-300 would be an option. See www.votol.net I did see these. Do you know of anyone using this controller with good results? No, right now there are no users on ES that i know about. If you are the first, please start a thread :D I messaged qs motors about purchasing a new controller and they...

The motor is a QS273.
Is that controller capable of getting (close to) that motor's full potential?
No, it barely gets warm. If I was overpowering it in future. It would only be for 10 sec at a time.

APT 96800 and 961000 might be something if you can find them.
There is a note about them somwhere on this forum.

Re: Are there any high powered 96v controllers out there

Sabvoton 96120 UNLOCKED the locked versions are discraceful. With one of my controllers through them they forgot to unlock and the maximum current in settings was imo slow and powerless. They sent me through an unlock program and once programmed, the difference is nothing but speechless compared.

Re: Are there any high powered 96v controllers out there

I have a kelly kls72v controller and was not impressed by its ability. I don’t mind if the controller weighs 10kg. Even up to 15kg. It’s hard to find anyone with real world figures on controllers as very few are prepared to push the limits of them. I may just have to stick with sabvoton. As much fla...

Hi all,
As the heading states. Are there any 96v controllers (max 120v) out there that will support more than 430 battery Amps and 600 battery amps?

If you can work out how to make the domino throttle linear without the huge rush of power from 1-3mm of throttle and wide spread the power all the way to a sabvoton controller, your already a genius in my books☺️ Without A CA.

Another reason could be the drop outs/frame is twisting under load causing the extra pressure to one side

Re: Ebike bike Wheel pulling to one side

Your frame is bent or your hub motor is bent/twisted. At what stage did this happening. From the very start, after certain incident etc? Straight out of the box, for the wheel. I had some loose spokes originally, least according to the bike shop. That bike shop and another tried to dish it, to get ...

You are pushing this at tad too far, with ‘poor design’ and ‘constant failures’. OK. I stand by my statement that using components outside their ratings is poor design. Pretty much every component failure I have looked at over my career has been due to someone, either intentionally or unintentional...

For $60ish you can get a proper hand hydraulic pressing crimp that comes with an assortment of dyes to suit a range of sizes. Very neat and super strong crimp.

Re: Assembled Hi-Power LiPo battery packs - any interest?

Heath - Sounds like 26s4p might work well for you then (96 V nominal, 20 Ah). The extra 3 Ah might not be needed considering the sag your Samsungs would have experienced. You can have any shape as long as its a rectangle :) A 26s4p pack inside a polycarb enclosure would measure 446 mm long, 106 mm ...

Re: Assembled Hi-Power LiPo battery packs - any interest?

I’m after a 96v nom. lipo pack capable of delivering up to 1000 battery amps eventually. 109v fully charged. I have just had a very bad experience with 18650 cells. Was my own fault for overpowering this pack with at least 30v of voltage. It was Samsung 25r @23ah. This pack was very under done for w...

Nic,
I’d still stick with a 19”rim. With version 3 qs205 3 turn high speed motor. At 72v it will still be capable of 100km/.
