Re: Cycle Analyst with Proximity Sensor Brake - POT [problem]

I played around a bit and with R2=182 Ohm and R4=23k I get POT 0=0,68V and DOWN=0,28V / UP=0V and everything is working.

Don't like that R2 is so low ... should there be a problem?

Thanks, I will try that! I just build out of the "Digital Aux Example" ( https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=37964&start=3150#p1196642 ) the Digital 2 Button with POT Circuit but have also now a small problem  POT_V2_001s.jpg The two buttons are only working right when the POT...

Re: Cycle Analyst with Proximity Sensor Brake - POT [problem]

1 BBSHD Mid Drive Moter 1 C9 2707FD Front Drive Moter 2 Cycle Analyst 2 Phaserunner So the original BBSHD controller has been removed? Yes, the controller is removed. It broke during a 5000km bike tour and right now I'm preparing for a 10000km bike tour and that is why I have 2 of each. The pot is ...

Re: Cycle Analyst with Proximity Sensor Brake - POT [problem]

Thanks, will try to make a wiring diagram. Here are a bit more infos of the setup: 1 BBSHD Mid Drive Moter 1 C9 2707FD Front Drive Moter 2 Cycle Analyst 2 Phaserunner The pot is just for setting the PAS - Levels. I had the same setup running with just a switch for regen-brake and then everything was...

Re: Cycle Analyst with Proximity Sensor Brake - POT [problem]

I put a Diode between GND and the brake and now it's a little bit better but still not usable.

Now the brake engages sometimes for a milisecond and the Throttle Out goes up to like 1.3v.

Maybe somebody has an idea. I'm guessing I have to put somewhere a resistor

Cycle Analyst with Proximity Sensor Brake - POT [problem]

POT01s.jpg POT02s.jpg POT03s.jpg I first had a End-Stop switch with metal flap but that broke on my first test ride so I desided a Proximity Sensor (CJMCU-0101) for breaking would be the best idea and it is a perfect solution because I just have to get close to the brake to brake with regen :D Now ...

Re: Grin Phase Runner / CA3 and BBSHD

Here 3 Photos of the cabling: BBSHD - Cabeling 01s.jpg I used the original cable from the BBSHD that was connected to the controller and cut it off from the controller. Then I just attached a new JST plug to it and connected it to the Phaserunner. For the PAS sensor I just used an old CAT-Cable (you...

Re: What is the best motor for regen braking?

Thank you for the help! After looking at the MOTOR SIMULATOR from Grin and reading your advice I think the 9c+ Front 2707 ( http://www.ebikes.ca/m2707fd.html ) would be a good choise for me and keeping the BBSHD but with the Phaserunner as a controller. I will be also thinking about adding maybe one...

Re: Bafang 1000w v Bosch and Yamaha

I'm German and the Bosch System (Designed in Germany) is a great system but I would still go with the Bafang! In the end I also bought the Bafang BBSHD because you have just way more power and options then with the Bosch System. If you go with Bosch you are stuck with Bosch (kind of). Pro for Bafang...

Planing of doing the same ... I already have the Bafang BBSHD and that motor is great and it should be perfect with the Yuba Mundo. Re: New bike or conversion? 28 Inch wheel.

I would use a Mid Drive Kit: http://lunacycle.com/mid-drive-kits/ I have the BBSHD and am really happy with it. It is easy to convert (good for beginners) ... the controller is inside the motor mount (so less cables/cleaner look) and the wheel size doesn't matter because you don't change anything on...

My plan is to couch-surf all the time and always have a place where I can charge the batteries over night. Thanks ... will be going to Slovakia as well With a small hub-motor just for redundancy is a great idea! I also didn't think of parallel charging with multiple chargers ... that's a great tip!
