Re: self learning on controller vs 3 position speed switch.

ah ok... i wasnt sure exatly what the switch limited....it felt like it was limiting torque/amp draw. it felt more punchy the higher the setting. i also noticed more voltage sag in the battery the higher the setting went, making me also think it was an amp draw limit. I DID FIND THE LARGEST CULPIT T...

Re: self learning on controller vs 3 position speed switch.

thats funny, i can notice quite an rpm difference between low, middle and high under no load and loaded. with top speeds reaching 30, 40 and 60mph respectively while under load. no offense but are you sure you've got your 3 position speed switch wired up properly? for me its either brown or blue to ...

Re: lithium battery performance vs tempreture?

thanks for that link.....quite a few far more informative posts on this site than i expected. ive read through a fair few and will summarise several things that i understand to be the case. a hotter battery is better as it will lower the internal resistance. some people even preheat theres to 45 deg...

lithium battery performance vs tempreture?

my batteries sit/charge in my garage whcih is usually the same as outside tempreture (UK midlands) i noticed as i charged up in my mates warm house (20degrees c ish) that the batteries were more peppy (torquey) on the way home. https://www.genstattu.com/blog/temperature-affect-lipo-battery-performan...

main part of frame is nearly done.....just need to attach where the seat will attach to....then clean up/cut off the excess bits off of the frame.

i always wanted a bike like this.....or the hardy daytona, but the akira bike seemed more fitting for a leccy version. so im going to make my own "budget" version. https://beta.photobucket.com/u/jimmyhackers/p/31394cd4-d424-43f9-8feb-46f7010c6b40 a few cuts n welds and i should have a rolling frame....

thanks for the info.....it kinda reaffirmed what i already expected. peak input/output power isnt continuous input/output power...but shifty manufacurers will try and blur the line between the them. this guys number did seem rather out.... to get about 22hp (16kw) output....id expect about 20kw inpu...

Check the high voltage cell again please.
i just have, its been sitting since my last post baout 3-4 weeks.... the voltage is at 4.06 and the resitance is still around the 200ish mark.

very weird....it appears to of charged itself......its gone from 3.85ish volts upto nearly full for a li-ion.

Re: 18650 RESISTANCE?

on a side note for my own sanitys sake i checked on 18650 cell from everyone of the other 5 packs of 4 that wernt playing up and they all read 140ish mOhms.

ive swapped out this one cell....so far so good. much less of a difference after a ride.

out of 72 cells its seems ive had one bad apple.

18650 RESISTANCE?

hello, i recently noticed my 18s 4p lipo with pkcell 18650s in it had one cell that was about 0.2v lower than the rest after a discharge/usage. taking the four 18650 cells out, 3 have an internal resistance of 140ish ohms and one has an internal resistance of over 200 ohms. after leaving them not in...

yeah i was on about lipo RC pouch cells (pre builts) i havnt seen any llifepo4 ouch cells. seem slike i was still right in my initial inklings. a lipo pouch cells is better than a lifepo4 pouch cell. and a lipo pouch cell is better than a 18650 lipo cell. i can wait till they fix zinc oxide batterie...
