Re: My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

Oh man, I really want a production bike now. This looks amazing.
Is there any other bike that even compares to this? Superb components, big battery, nice powerful motor, good price.
Bikes at the local store at with components like this costs at least double, has a much smaller battery and 250w motor.

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

How much are you charging with mini-e?
I have the possibility til charge with 2000W. or 37 amp 50v. I found that even 17 amps will get it uncomfortably hot...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Does anybody know what size resistor I need to replace R113. My 0402 resistor arrived today, but looks way too small. You are right. It is too small. The R113 resistor case style is 0603(1608 metric). I asked adaptto a few weeks ago. Now i´m just wondering how i should get the pcb plastic coating o...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Thanks for the answers. It was an old psu with auto restart enabled. I can't understand why the motor has to be connected. I am going to soldier a connector to a phase wire anyway, so I'll give it a go this afternoon.

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Hi! Does anyone know how much the controller can step-up the voltage when charging? I understand that the efficiency will go down, and maybe amp capability, but is it possible to charge a 22s battery with a 28v power supply? I tried charging trough the controller for the first time today. 28v dc 10a...

Re: Vector bike and frame owners.

It doesn't matter, it did 20yrs ago, but not anymore.(PS. I'm not familiar with the brand you have) The "most correct" is to connect your battery to 2 and 4, and your load to 1 and 3. Get a 35mm DIN rail to mount the cb. Btw.That cb you have may be too big for your battery. That was my thinking bef...

Does anyone know where I can get a 30a charging coil? Adaptto takes 45$ for the coil, all good. But they want 35 for shipping...
What does it do, exactly? I can't understand what it does except filtering. Does anyone have the specs? I'm sure it's easy to make :)

Re: Vector bike and frame owners.

Waiting on chain, rear brake, and headset. Will mount it ASAP.
I have the controller where the seat is mounted, and i am going to install vents and fans if overheating is going to be a problem.
The 5ah 72v battery way too small... But it gets me to work :)

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I am in the mood for a new battery pack for my mini-e. Does anyone know when the battery voltage starts compromising the _power_ the fets can handle? A good point is that most batteries will have a slightly lower voltage under load. That is when it´s important to not have to high voltage, right? Wou...

Re: My first powerfull ebike, with MXUS 3000 and ?

Hi, i thought i was going to write a little update :) I got an adaptto Mini-E, with bms and the charging possibilities, i think this was the best choice for me. Got through customs, saved me 175 usd. (Thanks adaptto.) Half twist throttle, 3x turnigy lipo 6s 5000mah, for 38$ a pack. More batteries ne...

Hi Drunkskunk. Thanks for nice feedback! Had no idea regen breaking was so powerful. Okay then, I will probably go for the Infineon, and save some cash. Getting exited to receive all the parts and building it now! It´s just above freezing in the morning now, so cycling season has already ...

Okay wesneweil, but i have heard some stories about these controllers not enjoying temperatures below freezing. Doesn't look especially waterproof either.
I´m going to use my bike in subzero temperatures. Brr.

My first powerfull ebike, with MXUS 3000 and ?

Hi guys! For some reason i don´t have my driving licence anymore... So I thought an ebike would be a good alternative. I´m thinking this will be a buildlog/please help me tread :P I´m going for a powerful, reliable, daily driver. I don´t need much range, since a just got 8km(5miles) to work and back...
