Re: a speed electric bike, looking something with a big battery

You need to read up on the difference between watt (W) and watt-hour (Whr) first.

Then just buy a far too expensive speedpedelec and get an extra battery pack (or two) to swap during a ride to get the desired range.

Re: Brushless controller for a vehicle (go-kart)

Maybe a KT controller (3kW or 5kW) might be of interest. There is support and open source firmware for it here on E-S:

Re: Vespa style electric scooter

Just find an electric scooter/moped with dead lead acid batteries and convert it to Li-ion. I bought an almost new one that had been standing too long unused. I then put in a battery pack from AliExpress (research the best sellers) and am driving it for 2 years and >10.000km already. If you really w...

Re: Improving BBSHD chainline: 42T Lekkie or Eclipse?

If you can do without the two smallest cogs of your cassette you could place them behind the largest cog. You'll lose those two gears for shifting (the become spacers to move the cassette outward) and need to restrict the derailleur in travel.

Re: REVX Manufacturer Info Questions and Answers

Btw, does the controller live inside the battery box now? I saw a rather new pic in another thread here on the forum a few days ago and I can't remember there was a frame mounted controller anymore on the bike. From memory I seem to recall earlier versions of revx had frame mounted controller? Coul...

Re: Heckler test ride ?

I'm currently running the battery on my back, but I've decided that I've had enough of that, and I'm going to figure out how to mount it on the frame. Difficult though, because the frame (Intense M9) doesn't have much space. How large is your battery pack? maybe you can mount it under the down tube...

On the description of the controller on the website where I got it from doesn't say at all, only says it needs a battery no less than 14.5 Am . Anyway for the battery are good those ones I'm going to buy? How come when ther...
