Re: Gell'ed Boiled Linseed Oil

I obviously used boiled linseed oil to spoke up my last 9c clone from yescomusa canadian distributor aaccessories. And a few spokes broke, so need to replace the broken ones.

I got plenty of WD40!

Gell'ed Boiled Linseed Oil

I have a mini container of 5 new nipples where the oil has skinned over in places and gelled in other places.

Is there a way to clean the nipples?
I dont have any paint thinner, or mineral spirits so I dont want to buy it without knowing it will clean the spokes.

Re: Helmet bike mounted cameras

I should have had a camera today, during rush hour I witnessed a small car turning, light turned red and it got smoked on the passenger side by a 4 door Jeep JK. The small car driver was dazed for a good 10 minutes. I stuck around as a witness and wrote out a report. Its a clear cut case the JK ran ...

Norco Santiago is a 1x7 which I purchased used last year, I bought a Leaf 1500W rear hub for it, just deciding what controller to use on it. That is my summer/spring/fall ebike, while currently I am riding a Northrock Fat bike from costco for winter riding, though the back tire is a 4" wide, I had p...

Re: Is a leisurely pedal cadence possible going 25 mph on an ebike?

Yeah I break pedals all the time, but I tend to buy cheap pedals. The pedals I splurged on, $20 range, are one piece cast metal of some sort seem to have held up fine. I purchased a grab bag box full of used stuff last year, because I had a square/square taper, instead of a diamond/square taper and ...

Could you give an example of a proper way for a 2S or 3S bms to be built, and then have the ability to put multiples together and still have the same safety factor.

2) I've also burnt up the windings in the MXUS 45H which is the 3kw. Which was a month or two ago. What type of continuous watts were you pumping through your 45h motor to melt it? Would 3-4kw continuous fry it? It was not a matter of how many continuous watts I was pulling that burnt it, well it w...

Don't go too low power! Don't cheap out! Electric costs money, so spend wisely. Lots of Britons are scared to achieve 251W, but if you ride with common sense and courtesy, no need to be scared of buying a 1000W or 1500W system for your bicycle. Other places it says 500W or 750W, no one knows anythin...

Re: Need a replacement conversion kit

Lots of ebay motors have lasted a very long time, its the controllers that dont last. I just buy sensorless from Greentime and call it a day, stock up on a few throttles, throw in a spare controller and call it a day.

You could try reversing the torque arm on the problem side and see how it fits.

Found it on some list, but been told they dont taste too good.

Maybe find a zuchinni spiral recipe or something.

lots of eggs for me
tenderloin

even the low carb bread is not good for keto, the lowest I found was 11g per slice.

I thought there was an advantage for more torque on a smaller wheel dia on mid drives.
But hey, your more then likely right!

If we're talking about a mid drive, then unfortunately you don't get an advantage there.

If you get caught with an ebike that is 255W, they cuff and stuff you and sent off to prison. Then at the cop shop, your uncuffed, transported to the penal colony where your stuffed again while locked up. Just kidding. If you ride responsibly, and are courteous, then there is absolutely nothing wron...

When I was at the junk yard, a lot of older trucks had a narrow pancake like alternator. I think I will still make a junky bicycle into an alternator ebike. It will be a fun project! and I can lock it up without worrying about it, like today I went to a big mall to watch The Joker, then across the s...

Most likely you will have to dig a trench, otherwise its poles, so if you can get clearence from the condo board to install, then 28' of trench, 4-6' deep would be about right. Hopefully there is no concrete or asphalt in the way. You will have to get a utilities finder company to come out and mark ...

How tall are you and whats your weight? My most-ridden ebike is an Electra cruiser. I trimmed an inch off of the top of the seat-tube, and then switched to a Suntour NCX, which is shorter than the Thudbuster by one inch. I liked the long-travel Thudbuster (LT), but it was a bit tall. I would have gl...

That smaller bolt/nut is to hold the shaft.

Re: Yet Another "What Conversion Kit" Question

That is light weight to some, shall we say medium weight!
Distance and speed of ride, along with terrain gradients will determine the size of your battery in terms of Ah (distance), and Voltage (speed)
