Re: Hoping to use a S12s controller with an Ezee mk2 motor

There's a setting you have to get right after you have the correct phase/hall wire sequence. P1 is the number of magnets in your motor times the reduction ratio. Gear ratio is 5:1, but I don't know how many magnets in it. perhaps you could ask John (Cyclezee) The answer to life the universe and eve...

Re: Crystalyte or Grinfineon Controller?

Thank you for the link, I see that that the controller specification can be customised, but does anyone have feedback for them?

Crystalyte or Grinfineon Controller?

I'm looking for a 35 or 40amp controller for a Crystalyte HS3540 system which will have a 48v battery and Cycle Analyst V3.

Which is the best choice, Crystalyte or Grinfineon?

Agreed,

There are similarities between the Cyclezee V3 torque arm and the Amped bikes one, they both do the same job, the biggest difference is that ours are available.

Re: Broken dropout due to weak jubilee clip

I had a torque arm!! I am talking about the jubilee clip that maintain the torque to the fork: http://www.cyclezee.com/uploads/2/8/6/0/2860781/7729138_orig.jpg if the jubilee clip breaks, the torque arm is useless! If the torque arm is fitted correctly as shown in the photo above, the load is trans...

Re: How many have spun axles? Were you using a torque arm?

I'm still not sure I'd use a torque arm though as I'm not impressed with a lot of what is being sold I've used a couple of these on a 1500w rear hub build, and I was definitely impressed with the quality: Cyclezee Torque Arms / Plates for Electric Bikes, E-bikes, Pedelecs Don't know which ones you'...

Re: Leaf motor Build/Questions

I grew suspicious of 2-piece torque arms, and found a post where dogman himself had one come loose at the pivot screw. I went looking for a 1-piece rear design, and found one by CyclEzee. Neat design. Version 3 is the 1-piece; his version 2 (still sold) is a multi-piece. Cheaper than Grin. Availabl...

MW Motor Net, One To Avoid

Anyone thinking of buying from Ali Express, this is one supplier to avoid. http://www.aliexpress.com/store/612941 A few months back I bought a 8Fun BBS-01 kit supplied by MW Motor Net via a third party just to try it out. The kit was fine and worked perfectly. Then I decided to buy some more direct ...
