Meanwhile, how in the world do I cut the slot in the damn speed nut so I can use it as a clip? This without bending the hell of it and rendering it useless?
Short answer ...Dremmel, with a cutting wheel.
The right answer....dont ..go to the car shop and get a new nut with the slot in.

Consistency in production is actually the most important QA issue in battery manufacturing
Yes...its called “Process Control” , and is a direct function of “Process Capability” and “Equipment Capability”,
All of which are frequently ignored in the scramble for “Cost Reduction” in industry.

Re: Why are two speed transmissions not more prevalent?

1) Electric torque curve gives max torque from standstill 2) Extreme electric power density This tends toward a situation where in weight and cost terms you are better off slightly oversizing the motor than adding a transmission. 1) all motors..inc electric, have a limited RPM range 2) all motors h...

Using the suction power of your vacuum cleaner or the new FLOWBEE super mini vac, the FLOWBEE then draws the hair evenly into the recessed blades and cuts it precisely. Re: Capacity Mapping (Optimal Charge-Discharge Voltages)

Pack storage has many more factors than just voltage.
Most packs will have internal BMS or just balancing systems that can cause issues during long storage periods.
Frequent inspection and checks are your best solution to identify issues before they become unrecoverable problems.

Even a street gang or violent drug cartel has rules, many never recorded , (but understood by all involved) with penalties. This forums rules are clear and recorded, likewise the penalties. Re: Wind and Solar vs Coal, Gasoline, Nuclear

Right now California is using 20GW. 40% renewables, 30% natural gas, 10% nuclear. Importing 20%. So we expand nuclear to 30%; that takes care of imports. We expand renewables to 60%; that takes care of the natural gas. Last 10% comes from storage. Definitely headed in the right direction. But, The ...
